Who can join

TraineeTrust is starting as a small prototype for ICGP GP trainees in every training hub in Ireland. Everything on the site, scores included, is for members only.

1. Ask for access

Request access with your name, email, ICGP training hub and current training year. We check each request by hand against the hub, and when you're confirmed we email you a login link. If we can't confirm you, we delete your request and tell you.

2. Signing in

There are no passwords. You log in with a one-time email link, or add a passkey on your phone or laptop.

3. Keeping reviewers safe

• A hospital department's scores and reviews stay hidden until it has 3 reviews, so nobody can guess a lone reviewer is the trainee working there now.
• GP practices show from the first review. Scores about the GP trainer are pooled across the practice, and comments about the trainer aren't allowed.
• Every written comment is read by a moderator before it goes live.

Your details stay private

We use your name, email, ICGP training hub and training year only to approve your account. They're never shown with your reviews or to other members, and never given to practices, hospitals, training bodies or anyone else, unless a court or the law requires it. Most practices have one trainee at a time, so a practice may still guess a review is yours. See our privacy notice.
